I thought I saw, somewhere online, a template for a GG holder (canon ext tubes) that you could print out. Was I imagining that or does it really exist? Thanks in advance.
What I'd suggest would be to use two thick rubber slide that fits both the sizes of the tubes and the GG/Focusing Screen and glue them with the GG between it. Then just slide it in the tube at the right distance to match the focal lenght, and it should be as simple as that.
That being said, don't worry about touching that focusing screen or not, here's something I've done with one, washing it with paint thinner. The quality is just as good as one can expect.
