I'll be a judge whenever you need me. If I am not writing or doing movie work I more or less look for shorts to watch to get ideas from.. so I'd be killing 2 birds with one stone lol.

We need to officialize the judges. If someone want to be part of the panel, please let us know and we will update the names.

So, is there anybody that would be part of the judge pannel again?
I've discussed with other members about it and the solution we found was to have up to 10 members that could act as official judges. The first three to post their reviews allows to declare a winner and get things going.
Of course, people which would be part of the list and submitting an entry would only post their reviews for fun, hence the importance of having more than 3 judges.
To everyone, feel free to show interest here and you'll get your name added. That would make our lives easier when comes the time to declare a winner...

Hopefully there will be three reviews up more timely. Please sign up for this, if you enter the contest, you won't be eligible and if you're not around when the judges are needed, no problem. So you're not committing yourself either way. You're just saying that if I don't enter and I have the time to judge I'll be eligible.

I could always add his name for sure. Nothing stops you to enter a contest if you want. And I doubt all our judges in the list will produce an entry the same round, so it sounds good to me that way.

Good point, all it means is that you're eligible to vote if you don't submit an entry and if you want to. Maybe you could fill the list with names of people you think would be suitable. If anyone has a problem, you can take their name off.

Correct, it's an attempt to avoid a repeat of a situation which occurred on the last one. Yes there'll be a pool of official judges and any of them can jump in, review and vote. The idea is that the result will be delivered quicker. Why don't you sign up? I'm sure you'd do a great job.

Nah, get your name up now. As a contest winner, I'm sure nobody would doubt your credentials. Besides you need only judge if you feel comfortable and have the time.

Draps, anyone with a contest win should be on the list. Throw them in. Also anyone who's a known and trusted contributor should be in there. Don't limit the list to ten, the more the better.

Yep. We have multiple choices, so things gets done quicker. As Huey said, it's supposed to avoid waiting on judges that post lately or simply don't show up for any reasons.

That was a good idea. I think it will simple remove some pressure on judges, so anyone that wants to write a review on that day can. As long as we have a minimum of 3 reviews, we'll be fine. If we have more reviews, then we'll have an unanimous winner.

I think, from what you've posted so far, that you could do a good job and post fair reviews. Anyway, you're name is on the list! =P

I think up to 10 is ok, otherwise pretty much everyone can jump in and submit a review, and this would be pointless at that point.

Just asked charlie and she can help if needed. I think she can be fair enough when posting a review. Of course, if I submit something, she won't be retained as an official one.
