    Default DVD studio Pro 4

Is there any way to get my HiDef footage from my HV20 onto a dvd that can be played on a standard def dvd player that is hooked up to an HDTV. I can do it with iDVD and it will play in 16:9 but when I try it with Compressor and DVD studio pro I keep producing HVDVD_TS DVD's that do not work on a standard DVD player. What Compressor setting should I be using? I realize that I should end up with a VIDEO_TS and an AUDIO_TS folder but no luck. I assume that I should be using one of the HD settings or maybe not. I am pretty new to HD. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Pinnacle Studio 11+ will do the lot for you. You will only get SD from a standard DVD player. Picture will be a better quality if you stay in HD until you burn the DVD. I have the same set up with HDTV connected to a DVD player.

you need to use compressor to compress your HD down to SD. Use one of the DVD Best Quality settings. Then you can use DVDSP to make a SD DVD.

Eventhough you are wanting a SD DVD, it's cool the DVDSP will do HD DVD.
