Unhappy Need help with my HV20. I'm lost!

I'm in the process of either getting rid of my HV20 and buying and HV40.

Reason why I would like the HV40, to my understanding, you don't need to do pulldown and it has a better 24P version. My HV20 is NTSC and not Pal.
I tried to look for pulldown tutorials but everytime I had tried, it has failed.

Now, if i stay with my HV20 I needed help in creating a pretty okay adapter to get some film look. I looked around for adapters and I'm not exactly sure what to look for as I, like everyone else, am in a tight budget.

I'm just so lost right now. So far my work that I have done on my HV20 is not coming out exactly how I looked for it to come out. I use PC and Sony Vegas for color correction and other corrections.

I'm sorry if this was put in the wrong section.

I also heard about the hack in the forum, will the hack help my "pulldown" problem as well? Or how can the hack help my situation here.

You could use the hack to turn your NTSC cam into a PAL one. Then you can use 25p. Edit in a 25p timeline. Export a master video file and audio file. Have a program change the 25p to 24p and slow down your audio by same amount then remux the audio back into the master video file.

P.S. Have you tried any of my utilities in my signature for pulldown removal of your HV20 PF24 files?

I have not tried your utilities. Do you have a written tutorial for questions and answers about them?

Any difference in capturing quality from the HV20 and HV40?

    Thanks for the reply.
