    They are both great mics. I have used them both before. NTG-1 is shorter. NTG-2 is more flexible as it takes phamtom power as well as one AA batteries. Just more flexile.

    How long for the VideoMic Pro to come back in stock? And do you have any kind of mount converter to put it on a Boom stand?

    Also, does anyone have any experience with the Pro? Is it "that" much better than the old VideoMic? We're shooting a feature next week, so I have to order something by tomorrow to get it in time.
