Default AVCHD>Final Cut>Compressor>YouTube workflow suggestions please

    hi everyone,
    - I've been searching for a how-to on a good workflow, if it exists here please post the link -

I am shooting with a new Canon HF S200. Importing & Editing in FCP 6. Uploading to YouTube.

I'd like to figure out how to best shoot the footage, and export via Compressor for YouTube.

I'm thinking if I shoot in 24P or 30P i wont have to deinterlace in Compressor ( saving some render time in the process ) - Yes? No?

So if any of you all have a good system for this set up, I'd appreciate you telling us how you do it. Listing out your Compressor Preset would be super cool.

Previously I've been shooting with a Canon HV20 and have a good knowledge of how video and YouTube works, I am new to the AVCHD > Apple ProRes format

Thanks again for your help. Eric.

If you are used to worked with what is coming out of the HV20, then use the same workflow. Once you have your footage in ProRes or AIC, there is no difference.
