HV30 capture problem partly working. help!

I've had this hv30 for 2 months and been trying for a couple of weeks to get my computer to capture video from it.

(Window 7 64bit)

I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. At first my computer would not detect the camcorder, so I added a "SIIG DP FireWire PCIe" express card.

Now it detects the hv30, and I can hear audio and operate play, forward, rewind via my computer - but I can't see the video in the capture window(ONLY BLACK SCREEN), nor can I capture the video.

Can anyone please help?

Settings on cam and in Premiere? That's the first thing I'd check.
