Nick Royer had some awkward cuts between his two angles and the soundtrack was a little noisy, but I liked it the best. Well done, Nick.

Did you think the audio was too noisy? I actually added that to give it some room noise but I might have done it up a bit too much.
Not too noisy, a bit strong perhaps. But then that might be just to my ears.

Congratulations guys. It's obvious you had a lot of fun doing this and I enjoyed watching all of them.
Nick, I don't think the audio was too noisy at all. There was a bit of an outline around the heads at times. I am sure the green screen experts here can suggest a tweak for the lighting. The whole idea and framing was great.
Mean girls was great too and I liked that you used guys to play the girls. The one thing I found a bit jarring was the headless body bottom left in the opening scene. At times it was a bit difficult to follow who was talking to whom, but then again this was the point of it all.
Bueller? I was ready to kill that teacher. The credit here goes to casting. The students were simply great.
I liked Projection Room best for the atmosphere.

I must admit to never seeing this movie in full, and I've never seen that particular scene. So, this is where I'll just comment on the acting, cinematography and sound.
GOOD: Acting (with the exception of the teacher) was pretty spot on. Your sound was clear, clean and easy to listen to. Your extras casting makes me envious.
BAD: Camera angles left a little something to be desired. Your closeups are a little tight on the teacher (I found that shot to be uncomfortable). Your lighting is... ugh, way to much there. Maybe a little too much brightness?
Very creative of you to place the card and the cigarette there as well.
Projection Room - Nick Royer
Again, I've never seen this film... which is a crime against humanity in itself (I've been meaning to). So, I'm going to comment on the same things as above.
GOOD: The image quality was amazing, I really liked that. Audio quality was also pleasing, voices easy to hear and no blowouts.
BAD: There was a very slight hum under the audio, it sounded like an air conditioner. I'm not sure if that was in there for the whole "projection room" feel, but it detracted from the scene slightly. The delivering of the dialog was a little stale, I think it did sound too much like they were reading it off a page... not performing it. Your greenscreen was pretty damn good in parts, but I did notice it shininh through on on of those closeups, and there was a dead giveaway around his head. The lack of change in the cinematography left something to be desired, but as I remember most old films... the camera didn't move much... so this really isn't such a bad thing.
All in all, the only thing I yearned for... was a little grain in the whole picture. It could have really set of that "ole black n white" era feel to it all. It was a very bold attempt, recreating such a classic movie scene. Thank you so much for giving me an insight into a film I'm yet to see. What could have made this better? Aging it to make it feel like the film. Very nice use of the 60d, it's an impressive camera. I love the way you placed the card in there... I almost didn't see it without a double take.

It would seem that I'm yet to be exposed to any of the films shown here... and I feel bad for that. I'm just going to share my thoughts on those technical details mentioned above.
GOOD: Yet another with impressive image quality. I envy you guys with SLR's, my poor HV just doesn't deliver the same sharp images you guys get. The audio was nice, pleasing to the ear. The only thing I really hated was the phone ring (but I hate phones in general). The acting was absolutely hilarious, in a good way. The way I understand it, the original scene had all women in it? Well, this one just felt the same, just between homosexual friends (No, I'm not being demeaning!).
BAD: All that damn light! There's just so much of it... my eyes hurt. Boo, you whore
Very good use of the "boxes", to mix it all in together without needing to cut much. Besides the overly bright tone of the scene... I was very impressed.
So, who takes my vote? "Wait, those aren't girls". Simply because the acting was the best of all of them. I really wanted to say "Projection Room", but the acting is what let me down. Don't get me wrong, you guys did a great job... but Randy's actors just went all out.
Thanks to all who entered, I was very much impressed with all of you. Despite many not liking the inclusion of the objects I mentioned, I was pleased to see those items put in there and used creatively. It's amazing what can be done when you put your mind to it, eh?

Not sure if anyone would want to rewatch things, but I was trying to be faithful to the original source material in both of mine. Laughs, well for timing and shots anyway. The Mean Girls one, I could actually overlay the audio from the original on my scene and it would line up for the whole thing, except for one part near the end.
