    Default Game #230 (v2)

    Game version 2
    5 somewhat easy recognizable pictures:

    Guidelines:
The movie[s] may or may not have been part of a previous game. The images are a little easier and more revealing,
but you need to get all 5 right to win. The first person to get ALL 5 right, wins.
The basic rule of this version is to select images that are unique to the film you're presenting.
We shouldn't post shots of something that could have come from hundreds of other films.
The trick in this game is to pick a shot that is very unlikely to appear in any other film,
while at the same time is not a dead giveaway, (like eg, the Red Sea parting!)
    (© Krute/MAL)

    Rule A:
NO IMAGE HOSTING ON EXTERNAL SERVERS.
Images for the games need to be ATTACHED to the post, and thus uploaded to our server.

    Rule B:
ONLY ONE GUESS OF ALL 5 MOVIES PER PERSON PER PICTURE SET!!!
There will be an initial set of 5 images, and your guess has to INCLUDE ALL FIVE movies. Simply guessing or answering one, two, three or four of them will disqualify you from that particular game, and the post will be removed.
If no one can answer all 5 movies correctly within a reasonable time, a new set of 5 NEW pictures will be posted. Clues may or may not include which, if any, of the movies have been correctly guessed, at the discretion of the person starting the game. Only persons who have already posted their answer can participate in discussing the correctness of any or all of the previous guesses.

    Rule C:
The WINNER of the game can start a new game IN A NEW THREAD.
NO ONE ELSE (unless yielded so by the winner).
Game type one or two can be started.

    Rule D:
Once there's a winner, PLEASE post the correct name of all movies into the thread (spelled correctly, and capitalized correctly, and not in italics or bold face.)

    Rule E:
    The correct title format is: "Game" / space / "#" / number / "(v2)"
    Example: " Game #212 (v2)" (without the ")
(no space between the # sign and the number!)
"v2" denotes version two, for version one, there needs to be no version number.

    Rule F:
The film selected should be one that has had an international, theatrical release.
I.e. a made-for-TV movie only shown in the USA would hardly be a fair entry, as
    we have international players also.

    Rule G:
These complete rules (A to G and Guidelines), or 1 to 7 if game type 1 is played, have to be copy & pasted into each new game's first post.

OK, this is my second go at a v2 - and no flack, please Mal - it will get easier as we go along... but here's the first clue:

These are all feature length, animated movies. (No documentaries, no tricks - promise!)

You know, since there are so few animated features (I only have a couple of hundred on VHS and DVD...), I had a heck of a time getting captures that aren't immediate giveaways... so, for this reason, I'll be strict; if I've posted a picture from "Toy Story 2", and you guess "Toy Story" or "Toy Story 3", you won't get a point. Fair enough?

Now, with some of these maybe more obscure than others, here we go!

(Admin alert: There's some bug in the site software, the preview shows the pics as sound files...)

OK, we're getting somewhere! - Krute is in the lead, with one correct guess. Next set, and a clue:

All films are from different studios.

Bedtime here, soon, so I'll give a few clues now, more pictures coming tomorrow morning EU time.

Two of these films were not made in the US.

One of the US films is the only animated feature made by that particular production company, which later merged into another.

Only two of the films were made in the same decade.

I knew that one on the first screen cap. Wanted to see how long it would take everyone else. Geez, and I'm only 34.

Yes, no doubt that's why they made him that way.

I remember that froggy face, (that is, I think I do). They obviously had trouble animating that long thin beak.

A green gregarious hummingbird wearing a red bow tie... you sure know how to give the old brain a workout!! And the search key!

How about a little clue for that one, huh? Ppppppllllleeeeeeease, Eddie!!!
