It's wide open. Turn imagination loose and go for it. Remember, the aim is to draw attention to the contest but not turn viewers off. Humor and "poking fun" has a lot of potential.
Everyone who submits an entry will be doing a lot to promote these contests.

Sure. You could concentrate on one or two "usernames" and follow them thru a couple of threads. One thing, I would avoid anything that got "out of hand". Most differences got settled and there's no reason to drag anything like that up. Mods and admins would likely appreciate us keeping things fairly "clean".

1) A thread about HV20.com users that discuss about difficulties about making a movie.
2) Or more like inception, making a movie about people making a movie in a movie...or something like that.

So, if I understand it quite well: we can make pretty much anything, as long as it's inspired from the forum? We follow user1 and user2 from threadX to threadX and we build a story around this? I mean, as long as the story is centered on users and what they basically did/wrote in that specific thread?
Example : It could be Bob & Huey making a movie with a DOF adapter and Huey doing the sound and suggesting to use a pearstone XLR-to-3.5mm matching impedance transformer while Seo giving the advice of using a 1000$+ Oktava microphone and Bob suggesting a bluetooth microphone from Sony instead?

Can't tell, but I hope too. But it's a bit frustrating to never heard back from him after the work I've put for the poster art I've done.
Anyway...
I don't have time this month. I've been filming and building after effects assets for a personal film that is sorta like "Inception".
