Question HV20 to FCP Capture Setup Question

    Hi,
I have shot in HDV PF24 using the HV20 and I am now ready to capture using Final Cut Pro. I intend on purchasing Cineform Neoscene to do the pulldown removal for me but obviously I need to get the footage onto my computer first before I can do the conversion. I am a bit confused as to what capture settings I should use as I understand the PF24 is 'wrapped.' Should I set capture to HDV 1080p24, HDV 1080p25, or HDV 1080p30?

Also, can anybody direct me to a tutorial that shows how to do the conversion using Cineform as I am a little confused as to the settings for output folders and all that? Thanks much everybody.

Why should you buy extra software? FCS has built in everything you need. You capture your footage as AIC 1080i60 then run it through Compressor to do that pulldown thingy. Look around a bit on the forum <cough> search function <cough> there are a gazillion of threads already dealing with that topic.

I would love to be able to bypass buying extra software but unfortunately your suggestion to use the search tool to find the applicable answers on already discussed threads is leaving me a little dry. If I search 'FCP + compressor' or 'HV20 + Compressor' or multiple variations thereof I am not getting the gazillion answers you speak of. Could somebody please be kind enough to point me in the right direction? Thanks.
