Game version 1
One picture from one movie:

Rule 1:
NO IMAGE HOSTING ON EXTERNAL SERVERS.
Images for the games need to be ATTACHED to the post, and thus uploaded to our server.

Rule 2:
TWO GUESSES PER PERSON PER POSTED PICTURE!!! Those two guesses are not allowed to be in the same post,
NOR in a consecutive post. I.e. you can post one guess, then have to wait for someone else to post: your second
guess is not allowed to be immediately following your first guess.

Rule 3:
The WINNER of the game can start a new game IN A NEW THREAD.
NO ONE ELSE (unless yielded so by the winner).

Rule 4:
Once there's a winner, PLEASE post the correct name into the thread (spelled correctly,
and capitalized correctly, and not in italics or bold face.)

Rule 5:
The correct title format is: "Game" / space / "#" / number.
Example: " Game #12" (without the ")
(no space between the # sign and the number!)

Rule 6:
The film selected should be one that has had an international, theatrical release.
I.e. a made-for-TV movie only shown in the USA would hardly be a fair entry, as
we have international players also.

Rule 7:
These complete rules (1 to 7) have to be copy & pasted into each new game's first post.



Game version 2
5 somewhat easy recognizable pictures:

Guidelines:
The movie[s] may or may not have been part of a previous game. The images are a little easier
and more revealing, but you need to get all 5 right to win. The first person to get ALL 5 right, wins.
The basic rule of this version is to select images that are unique to the film you're presenting.
We shouldn't post shots of something that could have come from hundreds of other films.
The trick in this game is to pick a shot that is very unlikely to appear in any other film,
while at the same time is not a dead giveaway, (like eg, the Red Sea parting!)

ONLY ONE GUESS OF ALL 5 MOVIES PER PERSON PER PICTURE SET!!!
There will be an initial set of 5 images, and your guess has to INCLUDE ALL FIVE movies.
Simply guessing or answering one, two, three or four of them will disqualify you from that particular
game, and the post will be removed.
If no one can answer all 5 movies correctly within a reasonable time, a new set of 5 NEW pictures will
be posted. Clues may or may not include which, if any, of the movies have been correctly guessed,
at the discretion of the person starting the game. Only persons who have already posted their answer
can participate in discussing the correctness of any or all of the previous guesses.

Rule C:

Only an audio clip from one movie:


Guidelines:
The basic criteria of this version is to select audio that is unique to the film you're presenting.
We shouldn't post clips of something that could have come from hundreds of other films.
The trick in this game is to pick a clip that is very unlikely to appear in any other film,
while at the same time is not a dead giveaway, (like eg, Schwarzenegger's "I'll be back!")

The audio should be lifted DIRECTLY from the movie, and NOT ALTERED - only thing allowed is fade-in
and fade-out.

Game version 4
Two Pictures from a TV Series

Guidelines:
The TV Series should be reasonably well known, although doesn't necessarily have to have gone "around the world".
In other words, it may have only been shown in one region, as long as it has a "reputation" of some sorts, or well known actors, etc.
Try and avoid some very 'local' series though, such as, for instance, "Motel", a rather obscure 30 year old short-lived Swiss TV Series.
The basic rule of this version is to select images that are unique to the TV Series you're presenting.
You have to use your judgement as to how revealing the pictures should be. We don't want games that last 4 weeks!

can participate in discussing the correctness of any or all of the previous guesses.
