Default Which studio logo intro is better?

Alright, I came up with a new studio name, I previously went under No Budget Films, but noticed so do a lot of people. So I've come up with a name to use and designed a logo and 2 intros for it, now I can't decide which to use. So, it would be great if you could vote for which one you think looks better to help me out. Thanks everyone!

I'd choose the first one. It's simple and shows what it has to show.
Here's mine, just to show you:

I DO IT BECAUSE I CAN. I CAN BECAUSE I WANT TO. I WANT TO BECAUSE YOU SAID I COULDN'T.

    Plus one for number one.

Oftentimes, folks bring the fanciest intros then a fad of a movie behind it.

To be honest, I think they are both very amateurish and would expect an amateur film to follow. I'd just stick with plain text fading in and out that has your company name. I think the logos, in general, are presumptuous.

Pocket Lint perfect- good band name too. I had the same issue, so we went with "Beer Budget Films", which surprisingly no one has jumped on. I need to get a webpage going, badly...

My problem is that I keep rejiggering my logo animation and never actually get around to making something to put it on. Here's the latest incarnation:

Amen, I've come to associate fake production-house logos with poor quality work.. I can't remember seeing an amateur production where fake-hollywood shizzle would've improved the work. I have seen plenty of movies with cringe worthy openings, which go downhill fast after the BS plays out.

Yes it's a vote for getting your priorities right and taste.

Neither of those options particularly impressed me. If you have to go with only those two, then the first one is the better. As others have already noted, I'd be tempted to keep it very simple if I were you, a studio logo is a bit much for the average short film

Definitely the first one. Things are kept to a minimum, and that's what I liked about it I guess.

And I commend you for keeping them both short. IMO these logo screens shout be less than 10 seconds. There are more annoying things, but it doesn't help at all when a PRODUCTIONS or PICTURES screen is like 20-30 seconds.

Unfortunately it's true in many cases. But even if my shorts aren't "blockbusters" or award winners, i still like to see an intro at the beginning.
But you got a point Huey...sadly!

HueyNRolf "Godaym! 40 minutes I intended to watch a few minutes and, despite the poor production, I ended up watching it all. Great story and very good performances. Well done Rob!
I can't wait to see your next one, now that you have better gear. Please share.
It just goes to show that story and delivery is more important than production values.
Guys, give Rob's movie a chance. It's a bit of Tarantino knock off, but still entertaining. Once I engaged with the story (or the story engaged me, more like), I was able to block out the bad sound and pictures and just enjoy it."

But now I have no taste??????

jordanService -"presumptuous" its all in fun, to make a comment like that I think is presumptuous

This was suppose to be a fun vote, its fine if you don't like, but pointless negative comments can go without, just don't comment, vote, move on to next post.
I'm fine with constructive criticism when asking for it, but this was suppose to be just a fun thing..I can't believe 8 Seconds can stir so much negativity,

Now, for the people actually be respectful

burnslluciano and Fade to inferno-I appreciate the feed back and think you're right, I will work at it some more to see what I can come up with

mark84j-thanks, it was longer before, but I kept shortening it, I wanted it less than 10 seconds long

    liverpool-what is Demo???

Sadly mate, it's a fact of life. Everywhere you go, people will try and bring you down. Let me explain it this way: It's a test. If you can handle it, you take it in your stride and know that if they're complaining, it means they SAW your creation. Which is the drive, right? To get people to watch it? Who cares if they don't like it... the point is, they watched it.
Seriously, people putting your work down is just to test you. They might not like it, or it might be cringe-worthy... but the biggest test is if you can learn to ignore the bad and work with the good.

It's a love hate relationship with film, my son!
