    Default Velbon DV-7000 head balance?

I found that my camera is tilting backwarsds all the time... It shows that the weight of the handlebar is pulling it down so now I removed the handlebar to get it balanced.

However now I don't have a handlebar. Is there another way to fix this balance issue?

Maybe a set of rails so you can move the camera forward a bit?

Is it possible to tighten up the head of the tripod so that it won't tilt backwards? I know the tripod I used often requires tightening, and just a simple adjustment (twisting the handle--it's a cheap tripod) will fix it.
My skills are vast, rendering me capable of too many things.

You'll have to tighten the screw for the tilt drag. But be careful, it is easily over tightened. Had the opposite problem: When I had the Sony A1 with wireless receiver on top mounted on my Velbon, it always tilted forward. Tightened the screw to the max - screw dead.

Yes moving the cam forwards could fix this and a rails like on a steadicam would be perfect. But I think it has to be moved quite a bit and that seems not trivial. I don't want to spend hours on building a custom 'rails'...

Sure, but then I don't have the vertical tilt anymore. I consider vertical tilt an important part of the tripod .
