    Default How to control gain manually on Sony HVR-Z5U

    I have tried the gain settings -3, 0, 3db settings of the Sony HVR-Z5U camera. Even if I put at -3db I still see some "grain" in the footage. Any recommendations to reduce the gain? I can still go negative gain on this, at the same time I don't want to darken the exposure.
