Default Music Video shot with T2i with green screen.

Heres my third music video I have done.

Filmed with my Canon EOS 550D. Please let me know what you think, this is my first attempt using a green screen. Just so you know I'm 17 and videography is a big hobby and I am hoping to become a career out of it. Any advice would be great! Also comment on the video if possible

I'll add that autotune is so last decade, especially when used like that.

    It looks nice.

I don't like the song at all, but technically you did a very good job.
The video is a little simple and doesn't really tell a story, but the shots were well done, the green screen footage was lit properly, ... and considering you're only 17 and these are your first attempts you don't have to worry about a thing.

I've seen much worse videos from people here who claim to be pros and have X years of experience.

    Keep doing your thing !

Video looks good. Performances and the song are weak, nothing you can do about that but work with better musicians.

Your framing, lighting, editing, special effects, all good. But you gotta have something to put in front of the camera to engage the audience.

This was not a crack at your video, this was about the song. You have done very well with your shots and keying.

Indeed! If I was you though, I wouldn't go straight for the hiphop wannabes. Rappers come and go. Try finding Metal and Rock bands. They have videos that are always fun.

I actually hit gold with a local singer who happens to know a few rock bands in the area. Once word got out that I was looking for some first-time music videos and bands who were willing to get a vid for free, I got a few emails.
Currently got two in planning, with one coming up next month

Wow! You're 17? The work doesn't show it. The technical expertise to pull off the green screen and keys was great. I especially like the key over the blue bars background. It looked good. Good mix of shots. Contrary to the majority of opinions, I thought the song was good. I don't expect it to be a top twenty. But the artist looks young like you. So the two of you should have good careers ahead. I do agree that the performance was lacking, along with a story.

How did you light the green screen and actor? I'm testing some lighting and so far everything has been flat looking :/

I used two softboxes (similar to these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Photo-Studio-...item3a5f9d89e7) for the green screen, one more of them for a fill light on the actor and a dual floodlight which I used a sort of sheet as a filter and used that one for the key light on the actor.

Yes as long as its 1000watt they are fine, they are pretty much identical as mine, maybe the exact same, just a different seller.
