    Default Best DVD from FCP?

And yes, I've already searched and read up on the subject, BUT...

How do I put an 86 minute feature on a 4.7 GB DVD with the least quality loss?

I have Compressor. Which workflow gives you the least image loss?

I've read about converting it to SD for the DVD? What does this do to size of the file, and will the picture be any different than if I didn't convert to SD?

Which codec? Been using ProRes 422.

I've burnt a couple tests so far and they show great on my MAc, but not so wonderful on a 42" HD television. It looks okay, but a little below of what the quality of a Netflix DVD plays on the same setup.

    Thanks!

    Chris

    keep it simple
export to Quicktime (NOT Quicktime conversion) and let iDVD handle the rest.

Chris, use the 90 minutes best quality template in Compressor. It's gonna run two passes, so you can look forward to a looooong coffee break.
