Looks very nice. It is a condenser for handheld use, AFAICS. Would you also use it in a very noisy indoor location? I ask because I would be afraid to pick up too much noise. OTOH your mic is cardioid, whereas the 2 I mentioned are omnidirectional and dynamic.

Well, I'm working on a short video demonstrating the MB4k in use in different locations: Reception Room, Outdoor Wedding, Kitchen, Living Room, etc. I'll reply here with a link to the post in which I'll add the video. I think it's a good microphone to use for LIVE recording because it picks-up pretty much all the action without being noisy, when used with a good preamp. I'll post the results and you'll be able to hear how it sounds. I used it for the wedding I shot last saturday, and it gave decent results.

    1) Any situation which would require the mic to be attached under clothing?
    2) On a lapel it makes things easier, but on more regular clothes, how would you attach it without being seen? Or is that simply not possible without getting the rustle issue?

You gave the answer yourself. It is possible to hide a lav, but it's hard to prevent rustling.

In situations where it's desirable for the mic to be unseen. i.e. dramas. And it can be done. I've done it many times. If you're interested, I can provide a few tips.

Correct, it is easier to avoid rustle if the lav is clipped in view of the camera. Yes, it is possible to conceal under clothing without out rustle if you apply a few basic materials and some common sense.

I remmember to have read that using some cotton wool over the mic when using under clothes would help, but I'm not 100% sure.

OK guys, seems there's an interest in getting under the shirt and keeping it clean. I'm no expert, but I have had some experience in this area.

However, it's bedtime for Bonzo here.
I am off tomorrow and, apart from some light galley duty, I have little on (except my shirt and underpants). I'll try and get something posted when I get up. . . . stay tuned.

I picked up these little pad thingies and a roll of medical tape at the local pharmacy. I read somewhere that you shouldn't apply gaffa tape to skin, presumably the adhesive might cause irritation and eye watering when removed.

Anyway, tape one pad down for the mic to bed on. Slacken the cable and anchor it, this is to de stress and hence prevent noise transmission. Take a second pad and tape it on top. If the talent is wearing an undershirt, you might be able to clip the mic on and tape just the top pad over.

Most important is to monitor carefully and listen out for noise, if this occurs you can call cut, fix the problem and go again. However, I've rarely had to do this, it usually works well the first time.

And the mic is kind of stuck "in-sandwich" between the pads, those being taped under the clothes, right?
I should check for that next time I'll shoot something.

Correct. But this is just the way I do it. Make sure you use materials from a pharmacy, that way you will be using stuff approved to be attached to people. Monitor well, just in case something rubs.
