    Default take off windscreen inside?

I use the DM-50 mic on my HV30. Most everything I've done has been outdoors. Today I'm shooting a rock band indoors in a noisy bar scenario. Should I take the foamy windscreen off the mic or does it matter? Shoudl I leave it on to protect it from whatever? Thanks for your advice.

I think taking the windscreen off or on wouldn't really affect the audio quality inside that much, except if there is some sort of strong ventilation system!

What happens when you're shooting outside and the wind ISN'T blowing? I leave mine on all the time.
