I have a four year Imac and and literally hundreds of HDV tapes that I want to burn to bluray.
A bluray external drive will cost around $300. plus, from what I read, on a mac, the video is downconverted to 540p.
I can get a refurb laptop pc with a bulray burner for around $550. I know my wife would love the laptop aspect. Would I get better looking blurays from the PC laptop?
