There will be some glitches until Mal gets the time to work em out. Shouldn't be too long as he is working hard, I'm sure.
Wait... Wheres my blog?!?!?!?!!?!
It hates me. After logon I don't have rights to see the page.

No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life...Albert Einstein
Too much white, very hard on the eyes.![]()
I like it!
Great job, Mal!
"It is dark the other side. Very dark!" - "Oh, shut up and eat your toast!"

Re-opened again.
Had to update some old stuff. Search might work again.
Blog reinstatement might be tackled later on today. Color too...if I have time.

And to think, Mal, that you took the time to edit one of my thread titles for me.

I am fairly new here, but I am a web project manager. Overall I like the new look. However, the first few threads I have looked at have made it glaringly clear that the old theme, god bless it, encouraged the use of a lot of light colored fonts that are now unreadable. Yellow is especially hard to make out. Perhaps someone with more time on their hands than I can write a grease monkey script to handle all the light-on-light font colors.
I want to complain.... not sure what the complaint should be yet... but I'll think a little and get back![]()
Wow..... what just happened lol. Good change. Wait no more chat?![]()

To Krute, and mitchmclachlan:
Thanks for your feedback.
I refer you to post #2 and #12 and #39.

"Oh, and PLEASE no complaining and whining about the site not looking exactly the same as before (i.e. blue bars instead of green ones, different logos, and icons, etc...)."

Clear enough I hope?![]()
Yes... That's my complaint.
My day starts at 4am in the morning... and I HATE light when I get up. I have my cloths... coffee...etc, all set up so that I don't need to use the light. Even my monitors are toned down and my desktop back ground is a little darker. But this white is truly going to blind me when I sit and read posts in the morning!
Okay-dokey.
I'll be working on the GREEN theme over the next two or so weeks. You will be able to follow the progress by switching to the "Classic HV20 Green" theme.
It will be REALLY messy at times (as it is right now), and I'm sure the whingers will be coming in and complaining that "the font isn't visible" or that "the border is too dark", or whatever.
It's a work in progress. I know where the problems are, unfortunately it's a painstaking task to make changes. So it will take some time...please be patient!
I do have a request though; if anyone can get me a good quality screen grab from before the change that would help me immensely. PNG or GIF would do. Maybe you could get it from archive.org.
I need a decent sized screen-grab from any forum's thread page. The more recent the better (as long as it's before the change of course).
Yeah, I forgot what it looked like already and need the color codes...
At least now, the hv20.com logo is back!![]()
Mal,
The content is unreadable in the sub forum main pages and new posts in classic green.
The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.
