Seriously. I'd rather go with this for 30 bucks shipped I think it was, than pay 20 extra for Irv's MFR. Although Irv's mfr 2.0 is so tempting, I really want to get it tomorrow, but I kinda like this follow focus design more. I might just get Irv's cause this one is taking too long

Yeah, I am very much tempted to get Irv's MFR as well tomorrow morning when it becomes available. However, after just finding this design today, I think I would rather get this guy. Very cool design, similar to other follow focus knobs, has a spot to mark focus points, and, it's $20 cheaper! Love it. However, looks like nothing has been heard from the designer in a while, and if I decide to get Irv's focus ring, I want to do so right away before he runs out. So please, shane_88, get back to us soon!

MY attraction to the FF234 is that it the design would seem to make less physical noise.
Yeah, no kidding. I mean, I understand that shane_88 has probably been busy and whatnot, but still, that just makes it difficult for us guys trying to make a decision as to what product we want. Well, Irv's MFR released in just a little bit and I think I'll probably get one...I can always sell it on here later since there will most likely come a time when Irv runs out of stock again and they are in high demand. Then maybe I'll get the FF234 when we finally hear from shane_88 again. That's what I'm going to do, anyways. Good luck!

Anyone notice that shane_88 is in Brunei? Everything that happens in Brunei is at the pleasure of the Sultan. Perhaps shane_88 works for the government and has received a suggestion that this forum is beneath the dignity of the sultanate. Total speculation there. I wouldn't be surprised at long term internet access issues... ever lived in SEA during the rainy season (right now)? The design is useful and many of us hope he will be able to supply these in quantity. Maybe we can finance a mass run... exactly as many of us have suggested for Irv! If you are itching too badly, watch the video carefully and just make one!
