Default Can I buy an already-built HVFF off one of you guys?

Hey if anybody is willing to sell (pre-constructed) an HVFF, name your price, I need one now and a 2nd one in about 2 weeks if the first one works well enough.

If so just give me a holler on the PM ...

    thanks,
    Carl

Oops - just saw your post Almohada -- I'll PM you

I have parts left for one more HVFF, so if anybody else is looking for one- last chance to get it at cost....

Hopefully we'll get that shootout with an IRV soon- if anyone has one and wants to put it into the ring with the HVFF, I am willing to send you an HVFF for FREE, as long as you send me your IRV (to borrow) so I can do my own shootout. This offer will only stand while I have parts on hand, which means this is your last chance. The next trip to Home Depot for HVFF parts starts the price increase...

Get your HVFF's soon! I am willing to make more HVFF's for those who want a pre-built one shipped right to their door. This is great for those who don't have Home Depot and Lowes stores nearby and even greater for those living abroad the USA. I can also have the HVFF painted black for you at no extra charge.

Read darthpaully's post above for more info and learn how you can get a FREE HVFF!!!!

Gonzo77, I will PM you back in a bit

Yay! Going part shopping for Gonzo77's HVFF! I've been looking at the list and watching the tutorial video for the past hour. I don't know how I did it the first time! Trying to memorize all the parts... haha

UPDATE: Gonzo, just got back from the hardware stores after 2 hours looking for parts. I put your HVFF together, but I got the wrong size (inner diameter) for the rubber washers. It fits, but I can't use them over the steel spacer. I put the HVFF together without using the thick nylon spacer and it works!!!! I'm surprised that it works this way and it actually feels a lot nicer than my HVFF. I will go to the store tomorrow and get the correct rubber washer size

Hey Almohada, how much would you charge to build one and post it to the UK? How accurate are they, do they slip at all?
    Cheers,
    Tom

Hey everyone, thanks for tuning in and sharing in this adventure with us. The HVFF orders are starting to come in daily!! If you are interested in one, PM myself or Almohada. We will be the sales team for those that cannot get parts or would rather just pay for one. The main reason I'm having someone else sell them with me is to ensure that YOU can get one, no waiting around for months. The only reason the HVFF was designed was because I couldn't get a stinkin' IRV... so this way we can stay on top of it. We'll be posting new videos, updated parts, etc. if you want to just build one. Since the original tutorial, we've found some ways to save on the cost, creeping ever closer to that $10 goal. As always, let us know if you have any questions.

Speaking of the IRV... redfalcon, one of our valued hv20.com members has so graciously sent me his IRV MF ring to borrow for the shootout. It should be here in a few days. This is HUGE, because now everyone will know for sure which product is better. We are going to start a new thread for the HVFF, and forthe shootout as well, so stay tuned...

I've been drilling this spacer for 10 minutes... steel spacer still not fitting inside.
I need to get a bigger drill bit and a bench vise...

I'm trying to upload a video (4.5 mb) of gonzo's HVFF in action to Vimeo. Its showing 15 minutes to upload. so I cancelled it and went to my videos page and shows it there completed. But it says it needs an hour and a half for processing. What is going on with Vimeo?

I might just upload it to youtube, but I want to password protect it...

    EDIT:

Ok, I think I will just put it on youtube. Anyways, here's a pic of Gonzo's HVFF perfectly placed into a bubble wrap bag. I think it was made for the HVFF!

    No problem.

I'll definitely share my thoughts after having both back here. No hurry, though. Do a complete test until you're happy, darth.

You can upload to Youtube and keep it "private" - not password protected, but only those who have the link can watch it. Not good enough?

Just remembered they have the unlisted privacy setting....

    Here it is!

The video first shows my HVFF (#3) and then ensures that gonzo77's HVFF is in perfect working order.
Sorry about the quality, the camera wouldn't focus on the HV20's lcd to show the rack focusing in action
but as you can see the HVFF small wheel is turning the hv's wheel and you can hear it too

Gonzo77, if your HVFF didn't come in yesterday, it should be in by today. Please let me know when you get it and your first thoughts...
