    Default Mini-XLR to XLR adapters

Is there something like a dependable mini-XLR to XLR adapter?

After a few hours of googling I'm very insecure because of postings that claim that this is not a trivial matter. Lavs with mini-XLR plugs don't seem to run on 48v, they expect their own kind power source that connects to the mini-XLR.

Does anyone have experience with going from mini-XLR to XLR? If this doesn't work out, I may need to get a mic with a regular 3.5mm jack.

Those lavs are meant to connect to wireless transmitters that'll give them all the phantoms they need (if at all).
You are better of with a 3,5mm Klinke.

Unfortunately, when it comes to these "special" adapters, you are best to make your own.

If that's really what you require, these are fullsize-to-mini XLR. As others have already pointed out, though, it might not be quite that straightforward if your mic is pre-wired for a specific brand of wireless belt pack ...
