Default I'm so mad at myself.

Grrr. How did I not see the light stand in the shot?

Better yet, how did the 7 other crew members who were watching not see it? Grr.. hate reshoots.

Screenshot? Maybe it could be retouched away?

    here's a screen cap..

the soft box is just outside of the frame on the LCD.. the ole "see more on a tv than you do on the LCD" issue.

The stand is right behind her. When she moves her head she uncovers the bulb.. and the legs to the stand. I HAVE NO IDEA how that got left there.

I also just found another shot where you can see my reflection in the a shower wall.. grrr.. its offwhite and impossible to see on that tiny LCD.. but blow it up in HD.. and its freaking obvious. Reflections has been our worst enemy this film.

That lamp directly behind her - i'd leave it as it is. That room is so full of all kinds of stuff, most ppl won't notice it.

For the other lamp, you could simply copy portion of the wall on top of it.

Have to agree with this. To you it looks like it doesn't belong there because you brought it but... to most people it just looks like something he was selling.

    here's the other shot..

I'm not gonna point it out.. see if you can catch it.

Its alot more noticeable in full resolution.. but I didn't want to destroy the forum with such a huge image.

Judging from the still I don't think I would have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out. Unless its a hand held shot, then it might be more noticeable.

its on a tripod. The whole scene isn't like that, just the part where she grabs the towel.. could probably just omit it.

With the clutter in the store, the doesn't pose a problem. A chick in the shower, and you are afraid that anyone is looking at your shadow?

I don't see the big deal, it looks natural like it was suppose to be there.
Remember! "The clock can be 10:45pm one second and 1:00am the next, as long as your audience is into the film it won't matter."....something like that.

i dont see anything! lol. if only it was as easy as it is on photos (although this isnt a particularly good job - i can see a few spots where i missed. whatever!)

if that shot was on a tripod you probably could just save a still from it, edit it in photoshop and just use the parts you need? and keyframe the part where her head moves? maybe.. just throwin it out there.

It's a hardware shop - people won't notice it. Also the shadow doesn't look misplaced, as long as it doesn't move. So don't panic!

For missing things which do not belong in the frame - check out this still from unused footage of my last short.

Yes, the girl in the mirror is holding the hair light and reading lines from the script. Don't ask me how I could miss an entire person - I had to use another perspective I shot "just in case" for half of the scene.

lol its a music store. Your the 3rd person who has thought it was something else. Once you see the rest of the scene it will make sense that it is.

Judging from those screengrabs, you are being way too hard on yourself. I've seen worse gaffes in big Hollywood productions and nobody has really noticed. You are seeing it over and over in your edit, the audience sees it once in passing, nobody is going to see what you see.
Edit it in, show the film to someone and then ask them if they spotted anything wrong, you will almost certainly find that they completely miss the problem you are fretting about!

I've asked 20 or so random folks to look at it.. and none of them pointed it out. They tried their best to point out other things they thought shouldn't be there, that do though lol.

You can do a 20% zoom in post and still have good IQ. That helps sometimes to cut out some light stand legs or something like that.

The flo light behind the girl doesn't really bother me in that shot. You're lucky it's full of junk, so it really blends right in. If it was somebody's kitchen or something, yea it might really stick out.
