i have a velbon dv7000 tripod and i mount my indislider mini on it, and the screw the indislider gets mounted on to like sunk in farther and barley any of the screw is sticking out and neither the head or indislider can get mounted on to it. Does anyone know how to fix this? thanks.

I'm getting the same problem too. I take off the camera mount off to install my glide track and the screw has been "screwed" deeper into the pole after mounting the glide track. I'm wondering how to get the mount screw back up so I can screw my tripod mount piece again. Right now my tripod is useless. WP_000013.jpgWP_000015.jpg

A pair of pliers couldn't screw that back into place, could they?

Get two thin nuts, counter then, then try to screw them out with an open wrench.

I have the feeling your pod is screwed though.

I ended up buying another Velbon tripod. It was my opportunity to buy a better tripod but I needed the something quick and cheap because I have projects happening now.

For the record ... the first picture I posted (WP000013.JPG) then isn't anything wrong with that part of the tripod. The bottom of my new tripod looks identical to the first picture and works fine.
