I am—reluctantly and only because I need the cash—selling my Cinemek G35 adapter w/ Nikon F mount.
The G35 is a coveted and hard to find 35mm adapter. It produces a gorgeous, wicked film look with an amazing ground glass. It has no moving parts and is totally sealed so you never have to worry about dust, etc. attaching to the ground glass. Grain is undetectable in hd acquisition.
It is in “Like New” condition and it comes with a Universal Mount that will allow you to fit the G35 on ANY camera with a 72mm thread (e.g., DVX, HPX170, etc.). It also comes with a Custom Bayonet Mount for an XH-A1 (which should also work fine for the XHA1s or XHG1). That is what you see it having in the pics below.
The G35 comes in a very sturdy and tough pelican case. The image is flipped, which is easy to unflip in post. (It's not necessary, but you'll likely want to have some sort of monitoring solution in the field unless you have a camera like the hpx170 or hmc150 that has the ability to flip the image.)
***Asking: $1,199 (+ shipping)****
Paypal only. PM me if interested.
And here’s some pics of the G35 (attached to an XHA1 in some of them, which is, obviously not included with the G35):
so does it have a built in achromat? Or does it come with one?
You may find it difficult to get what your asking considering a few hundred dollars more you can buy a 7d body, or a 550d and lilliput monitor. Or a hooker every night for a week.
It's true that you can get a 7d body, etc., for the price I'm asking... but this is a fantastic and hard to find adapter producing some of the most filmic footage from any adapter out there (not saying its necessarily better than a dslr all things considered, just providing some footage to show what it can do):
