Minimum focusing distance question
Please help me understand the terminology and function of the HV. The minimum focusing distance is 1 meter. Also it is 1 cm on maximum wide angle. What does this mean/how do you define this? When I have the HV on a subject at less than 1 meter it remains in focus all the way down to 1 cm. What is the difference between the two distances in terms of focus ability?

At full tele, you can't focus closer than 1m. At full wide, you can get down to 1 cm from the lens.
Inbetween - well, inbetween...
Everything between 1 m and 1 cm will NOT be in focus at the same time.
I think you're mixing up Depth of Focus with focus distance.

Just so I don't assume anything...."full tele" means the maximum zoom (digital or optical) and "full wide" means no zoom used.

"No zoom" - that's a funny way of saying it, but yes, that's what it means.
BTW, do switch off the digital zoom - it's only a gimmick which degrades the video quality.
