    The above is from a discussion going on over in the "Artistic" discussion area, and I thought it would be fun for people to post their stuff for comparative purposes. If people have access to early footage, I think this could be really fun!

    Red face

    OK, for mine, I started late with filming things, so my first is only about 4 years old, and my latest I filmed over the last couple of weeks for Antman's contest. I am still mostly a noob, so hopefully we can see some real progression from some of the veterans!

    My First:
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpceyVqPEmY"]YouTube- The Chase[/ame]

    My Latest:
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rDlgi2r4lI"]YouTube- Super Birthday![/ame]

    (And yes, I've been harassing my girlfriend to star in my short films for the last four years )

    Great fx editing on that birthday short Vishus! Did a real nice job on that Funny that you're first short was a chase and the assignment for my first video project was to create a short film about a chase.

    This was my first project in my first video class. I still like it better than my newer stuff.

    This is my most recent short. Did it just for fun so there's not too much production value. Watch in HD!

    Mr. Mingo!

    I love that our first shorts both involve a run through the woods and some skull cracking.

    I liked your second one too! Your actor is a lot better, definitely comes off as likable. What did you shoot with? The DOF stuff looks great!

    Thanks Vishus!

    Shot it on the 7D. Wish I had more stuff to shoot with it. I've only gotten to use it a couple of times.

    Just watched the trailer for your zombie film. Looks really good for having no budget, I definitely want to check out the whole thing!

    Haha... true. The first film was my sisters idea... I tend to help her out with her ideas, as she helps me a lot with mine

    My first short. Made this 10 months ago, before I was serious about filmmaking.

    Ha! I was thinking about this and just KNEW there was something older that I was missing. Back in high school, I took a class that had a video component to it. One of our assignments was to film a commercial for whatever we wanted. We went with Nike basketball shoes, and then proceeded to create a disaster A lot of in-camera editing and then some on whatever equipment the school had. Shot on a Hi-8 in 1994!

    Lastest commercial, from about 3 or 4 weeks ago, for a Ben & Jerry's contest. The given tagline was "Crusading for a Chunk-Filled Canada", and they wanted Wacky.

    1st one, shot using a Sony digital8 camcorder:

    In-Between, shot using my Canon HV40:

    Last one, shot using a Canon T2i DSLR:

    Sorry, can't access my vimeo account on this computer...

    Not the first thing I ever filmed but the oldest thing I have online. Shot this with a Sony Digital8 cam and edited in Windows Movie Maker.

    Not bad, I enjoyed some shots in the cinematography. Overall it was quite pleasing to watch.
