    Default HV30 Slow-Mo Interlaced vs Progressive

    [ame="http://www.vimeo.com/10479456"]HV30 Slow-Mo Interlaced vs Progressive on Vimeo[/ame]

    Just a test video comparing slow-mo of interlaced vs progressive.

    Made it split screens so one can easily view and compare the two modes.

    Shot with HV30 at 50i. Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0

    Many thanks to Eugenia Loli for her tutorial and help on this. Her tute can be found in her blog.

    It is a little bit more effort but it's definitely worth it

    Definitely the bottom is the best. I've been looking into slow motion stuff for the last few months... I might do some test footage in the next few days... seems worth knowing eh?

    Daniel, definitely worth it. Though it takes a lil bit more effort but as you can see.. it's a lot smoother the movements when it is progressive.

    50chevy, thanks for watching

    The botton definitely looks better.

    But, if you want truly progressive video, you'll shoot 50P. But for what you did, it does the job! Cool comparison
