    Default Is pulldown removal necessary

I am going to film in 24p on my HV20, I plan to do a theater release it on tv and dvd, do I need to remove pulldown??
I've read on here that you only need to remove if the footage is going to end up online.
    Please help me
    thank you!

Assuming your NLE of choice can handle a true progressive 24p/23.976 timeline, best practice is definitely to remove pulldowns, ideally before you edit. That way your final can go straight to a digital cinema projector, DVD, film or online. Just because you can shoot and edit 24p-in-60i doesn't mean you should.

    Great thanks! just curious, NLE???
Also, soo my workflow would be, shoot all my footage, load it all into AE and remove pulldown, then open premiere and edit my project?

Non-linear-editor. Your Premiere is one. Tape to tape editing would be mostly linear.
