Default Exposure lock hack + Shutter speed

Hi, now i think i understand the exposure lock trick (basically used so that no grain/gain is added to the video).

And alot of the tutorials i have seen mention it being set to 1/48 shutter speed. which gives it a film look in low light conditions?

Anyway, i was wondering if you can up the shutter speed (for slow motion purposes) while still maintaining the gain at 0dB, and the iris wide open?

    Thanks for any help.

If you've got enough light, you can do it.

It all depends on the brightness of your subject. In sunlight, you can probably shoot at f 1.8 and 1/1000th without any gain (haven't tested it, though...)

But now you're talking about your midnight sun, don't you? I'd have to stack a motherload of ND's on the lens

Yeah, I have ND3, ND6 and ND9 filters... and if they're not enough, I'll put a pair of crossed polarizers on top!

YES WE CAN! I mean, _you_ can, of course.
I use micro-SD with adapter even.
