I just kept resubmitting. Got rejected 3 times before they accepted it, I had to keep adding any national press we were getting.

Anyway, we had a LONG weekend. I'm running on no sleep for the past 2 days. Filmed friday night and Saturday night all night long. We had several hundred extras Saturday. Everything went great. Pictures and more details to come.

Well we had two long days of filming this weekend. The weather wanted to be an issue for a bit, but we shot around it. We had a ton of extras, and ran a two camera shoot Saturday, with an HV40 and HV30. We used one on a jib. All the shots were great and everything went off without a hitch.. here's some BTS photos.

Time for more behind the scenes!

We shot the 2nd half the of the party scene this weekend. We used about half the amount of extras as we had the first time, and almost all the shots we did were FX shots. Which are always fun. I got to do some gruesome stuff to this cheerleaders stomach which looked awesome on camera. We had a few issues with people showing up who weren't invited, but all in all it wasn't a bad shoot.

Passed out Kid was hilarious!

Dumb question: I assume that since you've been able to shoot some more, and have posted a fresh batch of stills, that you remedied your little "camera got run over" issue?

Sort of. We are using a Sony portable DVD player as a monitor on the one that got run over. The camera works, I just don't trust it very much. I don't think we'll be able to get a new camera anytime soon though so I'm gonna have to hope it holds up for the rest of the shoot.

Hey guys! We had an amazing weekend of shoots. Friday night we filmed at an indie pro wrestling show. We got some awesome footage there of the actual show and some scripted stuff backstage. We also learned of a new way of making some revenue, filming wrestling events live. Saturday was AMAZING. Probably the best shoot to date. Everyone gave 110% and the footage looks fantastic. I saw some stuff out of actors I've yet to see.. Was very impressed. We've got 3 days left if the weather will allow us without delays. If all goes as planned we will wrap principal photography next weekend. I'm very excited as it will then be time to head into post.
Here's some stills from this weekends shoot. I actually shot this footage with my GH1. We are not using this in the film though, but I thought it was cool enough to post. We are shooting the film on an HV40 and I decided to just finish it out with that camera. I do wish I had of had my GH1 when we started though!
