Hey guys, you've all been giving me tips and help for the past few months and I've been stubborn at times and all that jazz. I've been aquiring equipment and planning and doing all sorts of things to get this production going. We were in preproduction for about 5 months. We're currently on day 3 of production and I just wanted to start a thread so I can document the progress for you guys here. We are shooting the entire feature on a bare HV40, after having wasted much time with the Jag35ST. I still don't know that I would prefer the adapter over shooting with the bare camera even if we had a proper one. At this time I would dare say I'd want at the very least a Handy35 before I ever attempt that again. We wouldn't have gotten anything at all done had we used the Jag yesterday. Thanks to everyone here for putting me on the right path! Our actors didn't question our gear at all. Both of my redheads are "dead" so I would advise against buying any. I'm going to have to return the set, and I'm just going to get some more CFL's as we have used those the most anyway.
Anyway, here's some behind the scenes photos and some stills. I'll have footage soon, when the editor gets some put together. I will also post some behind the scenes clips I did with a Panasonic GS90 during the shoots.

The Scientists! and Brenda, hair and makeup... she's doing an amazing job.
