    Default HV30 Firewire 4 to 4 pin

    Looking to buy a Sony vaio. It has a 4 pin firewire 400. Was wondering if my hv30 will work using a fire 4 pin to 4 pin cable.

    As external HDD works with 4pins and 6pins cables, i don't see why it would work, but i never tested it on my PC.
    It should work the same way as using a 6pin-to-4pins cable.
    Anyone corrects me if i'm wrong...
