Default How to prevent the interlacing effect? *sample vid*

This is a sample video to watch high speed action shots like I'll be filming. (this isn't my footage)

How can I get rid of the interlacing? (I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terminology)

Look at the first clip from 0:17 to 0:32. Thanks

Do you have an HV30? The to eliminate it shoot in 30p (progressive scan), by definition there is no interlacing. For fast action 60i is still best, and you can deinterlace the footage in most editing programs at the cost of some sharpness.

That said the interlacing in the video is very severe. A camera should not do that - it looks like the person who posted it really messed up their rendering settings. For some reason it is stretched out to a Cinema aspect ratio making everyone look fat, and that most likely exaggerated the lines from interlacing.

Wow, that's the worst case of interlacing artifact I've ever seen
The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

LOL, yes, that interlacing is outrageous. DO you think it might have something to the Vimeo rendering bug that gave us the "alien skin" a few months back?

Yes when I watch my footage that is not deinterlaced in quicktime in full screen you can notice it but not that bad. If you make the window a lot smaller it becomes like this and really bad for some reason. That's my guess why it's so bad, deinterlace it
