    Default Capture fail?

my 30min video keeps messing up when i use both Vegas and HDVSplit. These green blocks keep showing up and the screen goes green for like 3 seconds. Any tips on capturing video? I'm on a windows pc.

The redirector of information will be with you shorty, please remain in your seat.
The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

Hey, now... no need to go insulting him simply because he posted in the wrong sub-forum
No trees were harmed in the sending of this message; however, a significant number of electrons were slightly inconvenienced.

No insult intended, I think the redirector can manage that without my help

This sounds like a corrupt data stream. Have you tried to capture using a different firewire cable?

I have no experience with vegas but does the playback on the screen of the camcorder look OK? If so then it's a software problem. If you see blocks and stuttering there then it's a tape problem or the video head may need cleaning
