    Default HV 30 not shift to play mode to camera mode

    i have HV 30 camcoder. I have a problem with it, when i put battery. it is automatically turn on. the switch of off and shift camera to play mode not work. always turn on in play mode. Please help me

    Sounds like you got a problem with the swich itselves. What happends when you try to use the switch to turn off the camera, og change mode ?

    Not sure what you think we can do to help. Sounds like you need to send the camera in for service to Canon. Is it under warranty? If you just bought it I would return it for a replacement.
