Default No-Budget FX short, shot with the HV30

Hello! I've browsed these forums for a while now and have found them to be extremely informative. I've gone from taking all the best advice to scaling back and finding my own niche.

I hope viewers enjoy this film I shot for the ViewPoint Film Challenge #2.

    Thanks!

Jesus dude that was incredible! How much did it cost you? Seriously awesome FX, editing, use of music - whole thing was impressive, congrats!

That was good, It's obvious you went through a great deal of work to make this, why didn't you paint the cardboard walls in the spaceship? EITHER WAY YOU DID A GREAT JOB.

Haha! Yeah, that's one of the main things that bug me still. Because I had no money, it was cheaper to go to somebody who had a Russian flight simulator than to build a cockpit. If I spent more time there may have been a way to fix the walls in post, but I put enough demands on myself as it was.

FYI, the whole short cost no more than $500, and was done in a little over a month as an exercise. Basically I can't thank After Effects enough, not to mention my buddy Mike who did the eyeball animation

Amazing! The eyes totally did it for me. Fantastic job all around, though. Please share more.
