Default Music Video - HFS100 + DOF adapter

    Hey Everyone,

Haven't been around in a while. Busy shoot en stuff. Here a music video that I'm almost done with. Still adjusting a few things here and there but overall pretty much there. It'll have 5 more videos in next couple of months. This was the first time I used the HFS100 + MEKAdapter35 and Flash memory workflow. Overall, not a big deal. Don't be surprised if I remove the video anytime soon. I'll eventually post on vimeo.

    Anyways, thought I'd share.

Nice work. I really like the drab tone. It seemed to suit the content of the video very well. I totally dig the cape, too.

Wow that was amazing! I loved the song too I think you hit the tone on the head. The only shot I didn't like so much was the close up of the girl at the end. I think she has a different quality than the guys have and it takes me out of that world, but the shots of her from afar worked fine.

The color was done really well did you do a lot of CC in post? Also, how do you like that adapter, it seems to have very little vignetting.

By the way what is the name of the band, it was a great song!

This song is so good too, I am listening to it over and over in a hidden tab.

I am very impressed with the video and the song again it is really fantastic.

What lens did you shoot it with?

    Thanks for the comments.

To answer some questions. The band is call Picture Atlantic and the song is "Cassandra Castaway/Clytaemnesta". Very cool and talented guys. The video took a year. From meeting to now. Creatively, I just wanted to do a video where the band isn't singing the song at all. Pitching them the concept was interesting, "Hey guys, it's a video where there's no performance and your running around with costumes on! Trust me it's gonna be cool!" I credit them for being open and trusting me.

I'm gonna be taking the video down soon to make my finally adjustments and post it on Vimeo. But here are some behind the scenes pics.

Oh yeah, I used 20mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm lens. I color corrected the video with looks I knew I wanted before I even shot anything. Basically, moving from cold desaturated look to warm saturated look.

Thanks for checking it out. Back to work.....
