premiere cs4 can't read hdvsplit files

premiere cs4 can't read the file format that hdvsplit is producing, wonder what I'm doing wrong this time

What format would that be? Should be .m2t files.

The trial or pirated versions of Premiere don't have an mpeg2 decoder. Same goes for Vegas' pirated version (the trial works fully).

that's the one......... after effects loads them but premiere says it doesn't recognize the file format.......

Are you using a legally registered version of the software? If not, we can't help you.
