JAG35E DOF Adapter vs. TwoneilHD
I've been lurking on these forums ever since I bought my HV30, which was a "big jump" in film making for me.
I'm actually posting now because I've decided to make a second big jump; spending around $2,600 on video equipment.
(Now, don't start listing expensive accessories. $2,000 will be for a computer, leaving only $600 for actual attachments.)
Anyhow, the reason I'm posting is because I've settled on getting either the JAG35E DOF Adapter or the TwoneilHD Adapter. Please note that I already own a Canon 50mm f/1.4D AF lens.
I've searched a heck load of times, but for the love of me I can't find side-by-side opinions or comparisons.
My main questions are these: What are the differences between the JAG35E and the TwoneilHD adapters? Can I use my Canon lens with the adapters?
And while we're on the subject, has anyone found a cheap, small, portable power monitor to flip upside down? (While using the DOF)
If anyone could chime in with a response, review, or opinion of their experience with either one of these, it would be much appreciated.
I'm just trying to find out which one I should buy, and perhaps, by creating this thread, help others like me who are just as confused.
Thanks!
