Flash indicator blinks red
Anybody know why my hv20's flash indicator blinks red and will not fire? I tried a fully charged battery thinking it may not have had enough power to charge the flash, but it didn't matter. Can't find anything in the manual about it. It blinks red in all the flash modes except when it is in the "no flash" mode. I know it used to work, but now it seems to be unusable. (You have to have it in "card mode" not tape mode to check it.)

According to the manual a blinking red flash icon means there is a malfunction of some kind.
Check the troubleshooting section in the manual.

Thanks for that reference.... I scoured the book and missed it apparently.
