Demo of three point lighting

Wow that was a wealth of info on lighting. I think most of the 3 point lighting illustrations and tutorials are made for 'control-able' set ups like sets for movies, etc

Can someone do some tutorial for lighting up like a party, crowded place, or old church building? The basics maybe the same but....
