No, I'm debunking your argument which arrives at its conclusion based on the number of google hits.
The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

Google hits are a good indicator... but admittedly so... that's ALL they are, and at our level... that's all we have.

You're missing the point however, and that point is that macs DO crash and DO have issues.... same as windows (which is my original statement)

No it isn't, it sucks. And who are we? I think you mean that's all I have.

I know what your original statement is, you've repeated it enough times.

Very well then.... How many macs crash and how many have issues? Take your time forming your... 'professional' answer

I know what your original statement is, you've repeated it enough times.
    LOL!
And that's why you went off on some kind of wild tangent about COMPARING numbers of crashes.

I don't claim to know. That's the difference. Burden of proof? Remember?

You present your claim and when asked to support it, you come up empty. How does that make me in the same boat as you?

I presented a claim that macs crash... same as windows. Now you may not like how I ARRIVED at my claim... but that's the claim none the less. Do you deny that claim?

Absolutely, because it's based on junk statistics. You admitted so yourself.

What because I don't subscribe to the theories you pull from your arse?

Because you believe in fairy tales. There is PLENTY of evidence out there that macs do indeed crash and have issues (which you know)... but as usual:

Did I say that Macs don't crash? What I challenged you on was your assertion that they're as bad as windows and the way you tried to demonstrate it.

And I even gave you an example from a mac user (and admitted apple lover) but as usual:

That's right... you have reading issues..... and that was 2 opinions on that example I gave you, not one (i know... reading problems again)..... BOTH mac and windows users.

    Christopher Deutsch and Andrew Miller

    http://blog.cdeutsch.com/2011/07/osx...n-windows.html

But you are quite correct.... they're just opinions and everybody has them. I'm sure there are as many opinions in the other direction as well. That however PROVES it's a debatable issue.

(actually I'm going to back up a little and question whether or not their opinions are actually OPINIONS. According to Chris... he's been COUNTING crashes.... that would make it factual... on his machine anyway)

my windows workstation crashes just as much as my mac pro, and thats about NEVER. i don't think you can say "as bad as windows" and honestly mean it.
neither system is superior to the other when it comes to system issues. i've had my mac lock up just as bad or worse then my windows pc before.
in reality, no system is perfect, and either can crash.

I agree. But isn't pointless to try and quantify which crashes more? How would you back up such a claim? If you surveyed millions of users, the result would be of questionable reliability because many would allow brand loyalty to influence their response.

Bob, you make a great village idiot, but sometimes you get more than annoying.
