Hey guys,

I'm a new HF-S100 owner. I'm pretty much loving this cam although there is still so much to learn. Should be a lot of fun though.

I'm far from an expert, but I am curious on the 24p mode. I've looked around quite a bit and there just seems to be a constant debate about 24p. Although I've seen a ton of 24p videos that look great - I don't quite think I'm achieving this just yet. In fact, a friend and I were thinking maybe I had a bad cam (then again it could be user error )

I've noticed a lot of hmm ghosting I guess you could call it and even a certain jerking in the video in 24p. I followed the pulldown advice in this thread: http://www.hv20.com/showthread.php?t=1417

I think I'm just nervous about having a defect so I figured I'd ask the awesome folks here! I put together a quick video today. I tried using different methods of recording to show off what I'm getting via 24p. It really seems when the camera is moving things get kind of awful. I guess I just want some opinions on if this is how things should look with these cam's or not. I shot the first bit in Cine-mode 24p, and the second part in tv-mode 24p (1/48). Don't worry it isn't too long, but if anyone would like to take a look and give opinions. Much appreciated!

(Yes I realize it isn't anything fascinating, but I was just trying to get this project out of the way today)

Thanks!
