    Default documentary: madrid paris madrid...

i bought the hv20 in november 2007 and the same day i begun to shoot. in these days i saw a book of Brassaï (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brassa%C3%AF) and i was amazed of his pictures, specially the night ones with a lot of interesting people. one guy with a camera doing art. so i walked almost every afternoon since then and i took a lot of interesting images and characters. there are a lot of images with noise but that's the limitation of the camera, and i thougth it was woth it to show them.
then in summer 2008 i went to paris for 7 days and did the same, walking a lot, shooting what every tourist sees, but also other nice stuff.

Very nice! An interesting slice of life. Editing was nice as well.

OK - how did you manage to get through the market without getting bumped? And were you holding the camera above your head or . . .?
    Cheers,

thanks hal, glad you liked it!

i had a bodyguard she was behind me controlling the possible elements that could interfere. and i was holding the camera in my hands, i think it looks so steady because i used a wide angle lens.

Nice shots...especially like the night shots. How did you shoot these? What settings did you use, did you use a filter or have you made CC afterwards?

Cini mode i would say, i prefer the richer colour with P mode for daylight but each to his own , You got a lot of interesting footage well done.

The only thing that got me was the audio. It was extremely distracting when you switch scenes and you get a sudden jump in audio. If I know that I am going to be switching scenes, and my edit has no music/ talking, I often shoot an extra two seconds or so so that I can fade the audio in. That way, the jumps won't be as harsh.
