2 different questions
hello peoples,
my question No.1: when capturing using HDVSplit, does it really matter, in terms of quality of the image, if you use full frame or, say, 1/16 frame size? what is the real difference between full frame, 1/4, 1/16 and 1/64 frame size?
and my question No.2: i'm able to capture using HDVSplit, but when using Premiere pro 2, pc doesn't see my hv20. what do i do?!
thank you all!

A 1. the frame size is just for preview. If you have a 24" LCD (1920x1200) or larger then full frame is very nice to see your focus. I use it at 1/4 on my laptop and fits great.
A 2. Did you try to install the Canon drivers from the CD? Make sure premiere is not running, turn on the Camera (windows should detect it) then start your premiere. If still won't work then check for update.
