    Default Preview of "MODERN"

Its time to finally roll this out, see what you think. I'm going to post these images and then the video in a separate thread a little later.
Its a four minute philosophy/cinematography extravaganza.
The story isn't much, but there is good weight packed in.
I've been working on this a long time, with the goal of going fully cinematic with (for the most part) just tripod, raynox, and canon.
The 4 minute short film is just about ready, here are some grabs.

Interested to see the preview video. Given there is not much information if any about the video itself, I can still say it looks like it could be cool! :]

Hmmm, the grabs are interesting, I'll deff come back and check for the preview. I'm hoping the actual short will be able to hold my attention though, since you said the story isn't much...but we'll see when its released.

Thanks Eugenia. I hope it does not disappoint. This was actually shot on an HG10, which is essentially the same as an HV20.

Thank you kurisu. It is basically about a criminal with an identity crisis, specifically the moment that he fails to pay attention to a threat to his life (gun pointed at him) because he is lost in himself. The short chronicles the images that he sees as he turns away from the gun to look in the mirror, and what he subsequently learns from this.

Thank you; the original concept for the film was a non-narrative art piece where a criminal who is asked "who are you?" ignores a gun leveled at him and turns into a mirror and sees his past flash before him. After, he turns back from the mirror and reveals that he doesn't know.

Then, inspired by a song, I filled in a little back-story that led up to the moment. His girlfriend leaves on a subway, and he gives her the crime ring's money, putting himself in danger. Probably shouldn't have conflated the inspirations, because people get 'settled' to hear a longer story than is there.

But its still some of my best cinematography in action, with the imagery toward the end getting pretty cool. One of my fav moments is in the credits actually. But be prepared for how short it is... its like a 'tasty treat'...

    I'll post the film tomorrow.
