I cant transfer footage from my hv40 **help !

i tried transfering footage from my canon hv40 and my editing system isnt allowing it to record or show any image for that matter.i even tried transfering it from another dv camcorder only to find out that the footage wouldnt even play on the other non hd camcorder. Can anyone help me with this problem?

You'll find a good deal of info on the subject by doing a forum search.

Many people here will be willing to help, but they'll need to know, at a minimum;

1. Operating system version
2. Capture application
3. NLE application

Your footage won't playback on an SD cam and probably won't playback on a non-Canon HD cam.
